Edward P. Allen, Periodontist
As a former full-time Professor of Periodontics and current full-time private practitioner, Dr. Allen combines his recognized teaching abilities and clinical skills to present a practical multimedia course on current oral plastic surgical techniques. His passion for teaching and the structure of the courses allow participants to immediately apply the new procedures in their practices.
Dr. Allen has served as President of the American Academy of Periodontology Foundation, the American Academy of Restorative Dentistry, and the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry. He also serves as the Periodontal Section Editor for the Journal of Esthetic Dentistry and serves on the Editorial Boards of the Journal of Periodontology and the International Journal of Periodontics and Restorative Dentistry.
Dr. Allen received the Distinguished Alumnus Award from Baylor College of Dentistry Periodontics Residency Program in 1999 and the Master Clinician Award from the American Academy of Periodontology in 2002. He has published over 75 articles in the area of esthetic surgery and has presented numerous lectures and surgical demonstrations worldwide. Most recently, he received the Best Teacher award from the AAED at the 30th Annual Meeting in Hawaii.

Jeffrey Babushkin
Dr. Jeffrey Babushkin attended the Ohio State University where he received his DDS degree in 1986. Immediately following, he completed an Advanced General Practice Residency at the University of Maryland Hospital. Dr. Babushkin's interest in implant placement and restorations lead him to Brookdale Hospital where he completed an Implant Maxicourse and certification in 1992.
Dr. Babushkin is a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry, an honor awarded to only 7 percent of dentists. He is also a fellow in the International Congress of Oral Implantology. Other awards include fellowship in the Academy of Osseointegration and fellowship in the Pierre Fauchard Dental Honor Society. Dr. Babushkin is currently working toward accreditation in the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, achieved by only 331 dentists worldwide to date. He previously served on the Biolok advisory panel and is currently a faculty mentor for Spear Education. Dr. Babushkin lectures nationally on treatment planning and implant restorations.
Dr. Babushkin maintains a private practice in Trumbull, Connecticut focusing on esthetic and implant dentistry.

Dan Cullum, Oral Surgeon
Dr. Dan Cullum completed his DDS with distinction at the University of Alberta, Canada and residency training at Westchester Medical Center, New York. Dr. Cullum is a Diplomat of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and is on faculty as a Visiting Lecturer at Loma Linda University, Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and UCLA, Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
Dr. Cullum speaks internationally and has contributed articles and textbook chapters on implant reconstruction. Dr. Cullum has served in leadership roles at national, state and local societies. At Implants Northwest (Coeur d'Alene, ID), he practices Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery with emphasis on immediate and minimally invasive techniques in esthetic implant reconstruction.

Dr. Andrew Ferrier earned his dental degree from UCLA and completed the three year Prosthodontic Residency Program at UCSF. For the past 8 years, he has treated patients with full arch immediate load treatment concepts in his private practice and for a dental implant center. Dr. Ferrier serves as the staff prosthodontist for the Head and Neck surgery department of Kaiser Hospital in Oakland. He has completed over 1,000 arches and conducted thousands of maintenance visits and patient consultations. Dr. Ferrier has held a position of assistant clinical professor at UCSF. He lectures internationally on a broad variety of topics including implants, CEREC, and dental practice management.

Gerhard Iglhaut, Oral Surgeon
Dr. Iglhaut completed his degree in dentistry in 1982 at the Justus Liebig University of Giessen, Germany. He worked as a scientific assistant in the department of Oral Surgery for three years, and earned a specialist certificate in Oral Surgery at the same university, later a specialist certificate in Oral Implantology (DGI) and Periodontology (EDA).
Dr. Iglhaut is a lecturer for the German Association of Oral Implantology (DGI) as well as board member since 2004, and the current President Elect. Since 2005 he is a university docent in Oral Implantology at the Steinbeis University in Berlin and since 2008 docent at the Georg-August-University in Göttingen. Since 1995 he has lectured internationally on oral implantology, periodontology, plastic periodontal surgery and periodontal microsurgery.
He holds memberships in numerous dental professional organizations such as the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry, American Academy of Restorative Dentistry, American Academy of Periodontology, European Academy of Osseointegration, German Association of Oral Surgery, German Association of Oral Implantology and the German Association of Periodontology. Dr. Iglhaut works from his private practice in Memmingen, Germany, which he has maintained since 1987.

Frank LaMar, Prosthodontist & Co-Founder of Hybridge
Dr. LaMar is a Doctor of Dental Surgery specializing in prosthodontics and dental restoration. He trained in prosthetic dentistry at the Eastman Dental Center at the University of Rochester Medical Center. As a Prosthodontist, Dr. LaMar limits his practice to the replacement of missing teeth, and the restoration of severely compromised teeth. He has developed the Hybridge Implant Protocols, which have significantly reduced the time and expense of dental implant treatment.
He is an Assistant Professor at the Eastman Dental Center's Department of Prosthodontics and a member of the American College of Prosthodontists and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID). Sonia Leziy, Periodontist
Dr. Sonia Leziy received her dental degree from McGill University in 1989 and subsequently completed a general practice residency program at the Jewish General Hospital in Montreal. Her post-graduate degree in periodontics was completed at the University of British Columbia in 1993.
Dr. Leziy is a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada, a Fellow of the ICOI, and a member of the British Columbia Society of Periodontists, the Canadian Academy of Periodontists, the American Academy of Periodontists and the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry. She is an associate clinical professor and sessional lecturer at the University of British Columbia and co-mentors the multi-disciplinary VIP study club. Dr. Leziy is a member of the editorial board of the Journal Spectrum Dialogue, the Journal Teamwork and the Journal of Esthetic Dentistry and periodic reviewer for the Journal of Periodontics and Restorative Dentistry.
She has published on implant esthetics and surgical protocols, including a textbook chapter published by Quintessence Publishing (2008) and a chapter in a follow-up book, Interdisciplinary Treatment Planning, Volume II (2011).
Dr. Leziy lectures internationally on the subject of implants and advanced esthetics/periodontal plastic surgery, and has been recognized among the top 100 clinicians in continuing education by Dentistry Today. She was selected by her peers and by industry representatives as a Lucy Hobbs Award Winner in 2012 in the mentorship category and the 2013 co-recipient of the Seattle Study Club Saul Schluger Award for excellence in treatment planning. She was the program chair for the 2013 American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry.

Tomas Linkevičius, Periodontist
Dr. Tomas Linkevičius graduated from Kaunas University of Medicine Faculty of Stomatology in 2000 and completed his primary postgraduate training at Vilnius out-patient central clinic. The same year he enrolled in secondary postgraduate studies of prosthodontics at Vilnius University. Having completed postgraduate studies at Vilnius University Zalgirio hospital in 2004, he became a specialist in prosthodontics and acquired the license to work with the most difficult prosthetic cases.
Dr. Linkevičius is a co-author of one book and the author of six published scientific articles. He gives lectures at scientific conferences and participates in international seminars and is a member of the Lithuanian Society of Prosthodontics. He is a member of the International College of Prosthodontists, which unites the most renowned prosthodontists in the world.
Currently Dr. Linkevičius is doing research on bone atrophy around dental implants under the leadership of professor P. Apse (Riga Stradins University, Institute of Stomatology, Latvia). He specializes in treatment planning of oral rehabilitation with dental implants, conventional prosthetic dentistry as well as prostheses on dental implants after bone augmentation, sinus elevation and orthognatic surgery. He is also interested in prosthetic treatment of cleft lip and palate patients and rehabilitation of patients after cancer treatment.

Richard Martin, Oral Surgeon
Dr. Richard Martin studied at the University of Maryland, College Park in Biological Sciences and then entered New York University Dental School, where he was elected Omicron Kappa Epsilon and graduated with Full Honors in Oral Surgery. He completed his residency at Harlem Hospital, Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons, where he was appointed chief resident. He then completed a one-year Fellowship at the Oral Surgical Institute in Nashville, Tennessee where he remained in practice until December 2001. He started his solo practice in Lewisville, Texas in March 2002.
Dr. Martin has a special interest in surgical instrument design and splint design. During his residency, he started designing instruments and for the past 12 years has designed over 20 instruments. Many are used by surgeons around the world. He continues to work with the same instrument company and has had the #1-selling surgical instrument in the world, the Grasping-Forcep, for the last 4 years. He has now turned his focus towards designing instruments for bone grafting and dental implants.
Each year Dr. Martin conducts continuing education seminars regarding dental implants, tissue grafting, and bone grafting for his referring doctors.

Dr. Miller is an associate clinical professor and sessional lecturer at the University of British Columbia and co-mentors the highly recognized VIP study club (a Seattle Study Club affiliate). He is a member of the editorial boards of the Journal Spectrum Dialogue, the Journal of Esthetic Dentistry and the Journal of Periodontics and Restorative Dentistry. Justin Moody
Dr. Justin Moody graduated from the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center College of Dentistry in 1997 and has since been in private practice in Nebraska and South Dakota. Dr. Moody has earned Fellow and Diplomate status in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, Fellow and Associate Fellow status in the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and is one of the youngest Diplomates in the American Board of Oral Implantology/Implant Dentistry.
Dr. Moody is the owner of Horizon West Dental group which has multiple offices in western Nebraska. In 2008, he opened the first Dental Implant Center in Rapid City South Dakota, and now oversees a network of 6 centers in 5 states. He has lectured throughout North America and has special expertise in the topics of 3D imaging and cone beam technology. Dr. Moody is also founder of the South Dakota Dental Institute, an implant training facility with a multidisciplinary approach.

Dr. Nevins is a past president of the American Academy of Periodontology where his contributions have been recognized with the Gold Medal and the Master Clinician Awards. Jay Reznick, Oral Surgeon
Dr. Jay Reznick is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He received his undergraduate Biology degree from CAL-Berkeley, dental degree from Tufts University, and his M.D. degree from the University of Southern California. He completed his internship in General Surgery at Huntington Memorial Hospital in Pasadena and trained in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at L.A. County - USC Medical Center.
Dr. Reznick's clinical interests are in the areas of facial trauma, jaw and oral pathology, dental implantology and guided surgery, sleep disorders medicine, laser surgery and jaw deformities. He also has expertise in the integration of digital photography and imaging in clinical practice.
He frequently lectures at continuing education meetings and has published articles in JADA, Journal of the California Dental Association, Oral Surgery-Oral Medicine-Oral Pathology, Compendium of Continuing Education in Dentistry, DentalTown Magazine, CE Digest and Gastroenterology.
His advice and comments are frequently seen in DentalTown Magazine and on the website www.DentalTown.com. He is an Administrator of the DentalTown Message Boards and a Moderator of the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery section. Dr. Reznick is also the Director of the Southern California Center for Oral and Facial Surgery in Tarzana, California.

Dr. Sarnachiaro received his dental degree from the Universidad de Buenos Aires Facultad de Odontologia, graduating magna cum laude. He completed his Oral Surgery Residency Program in the Hospital Interzonal de Agudos Eva Peron and obtained his certificate in Prosthodontics at the Instituto Cientifico Buenos Aires.
Dr. Sarnachiaro completed a Fellowship Program in Oral Implantology as part of the University of Pittsburgh's continuing education program in Argentina. Relocating to the United States in 2003, he received his U.S. DDS degree from the New York University College of Dentistry (NYUCD), once again graduating with honors. He is currently an Assistant Clinical Professor at the Columbia University College of Dental Medicine's Department of Prosthodontics, and at the Temple University School of Dentistry's Department of Periodontology-Oral Implantology. He is a Clinical Professor at the Maimonides University School of Dentistry. Dr. Sarnachiaro has performed extensive research in the fields of dental implants and related biomaterials. He has lectured throughout the United States, and in Argentina, Brazil and Italy.

Dr. Hamid Shafie received his certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in Prosthodontics from Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine. He is the director of postdoctoral implant training at Washington Hospital Center Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and the President of the American Institute of Implant Dentistry, a not for profit teaching institution in Washington, DC.
Dr. Shafie is the author of the best selling text book Implant Supported Overdentures, published by Wiley-Blackwell in 2007. He lectures nationally and internationally about innovative aspects of implant dentistry and is renowned for his unique way of making implant dentistry fun to learn for both specialists and general dentists.

Marius Steigmann
Dr. Marius Steigmann graduated in Dental Medicine in Neumarkt in 1987. In 2005 he received his PhD Summa cum laude from University of Neumarkt. Dr. Steigmann is a Diplomate of the ICOI and a member of the board of the DGOI. He has also received the medal of "Semmelweiss" from Budapest University Dental School Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He is the founder and scientific chairman of "Update Implantologie Heidelberg" 2002-2011 and the founder and director of the Steigmann Institute.

Dennis P. Tarnow is currently Clinical Professor of Periodontology and Director of Implant Education at Columbia School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Tarnow has a certificate in Periodontics and Prosthodontics and is a Diplomat of the American Board of Periodontology. He is a recipient of the Master Clinician Award from the American Academy of Periodontology and Teacher of the Year Award from New York University.
Dr. Tarnow has a private practice in New York City, and has been honored with a wing named after him at New York University College of Dentistry. He has published over one hundred articles on perio-prosthodontics and implant dentistry and has coauthored three textbooks including Aesthetic Restorative Dentistry. Tiziano Testori, Oral Surgeon
Dr. Tiziano Testori is the Head of Section of Implant Dentistry and Oral Rehabilitation, IRCCS, at Galeazzi Institute in Milan, Italy. Dr. Testori is also an Associate clinical professor, Department of Biomedical, Surgical and Dental Science at the University of Milan.
Dr. Testori received his MD degree in 1981 followed by his DDS degree in 1984. He then became a specialist in Orthodontics in 1986 at the University of Milan, Italy. Michael Tischler, Oral Surgeon
Dr. Michael Tischler graduated from the Georgetown University School of Dentistry in Washington, D.C., and currently lectures and publishes on the principles of implant dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, and bone grafting. He is in private practice in Woodstock, NY, and in 2007 he opened The Implant Center at Tischler Dental to teach implant dentistry and bone grafting principles.
Dr. Tischler is a diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology/Implant Dentistry. He is also a New York University College of Dentistry Research Associate, Diplomat and Fellow of The International Congress of Oral Implantologists, Fellow of The Academy of General Dentistry, Fellow of the Misch International Implant Institute, Associate Fellow of The Academy of Implant Dentistry and an Associate Member of The American Academy of Periodontology. Dr. Tischler has been listed by Dentistry Today as a leader in continuing education since 2003. He is also a contributing editor to this widely read dental journal.
Dr. Tischler has been published in The New York State Dental Journal, Dentistry Today, Contemporary Esthetics and Restorative Practice, and The International Magazine of Implant Dentistry. He is also on the Editorial Advisory Board for The Journal of Implant and Advanced Clinical Dentistry.

He has lectures nationally and abroad for NYU Continuing Education department. He is Director of Graduate Periodontics and Professor in the Department of Periodontics/Prevention/Geriatrics at the University of Michigan and Visiting Professor at the Taipei Medical University in Taiwan.
Dr. Wang is a Diplomate of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, Fellow of the American College of Dentists and International College of Dentists. He is Director of the American Board of Periodontology.
